Contraindications
*General Contraindications - If you are currently experiencing any of the following conditions, permanent makeup is not recommended.

Chronic Blepharitis
-
Herpes Simplex inflammation of the cornea

Glaucoma
-
Eye/skin complication connected to diabetes
-
Grave’s disease
-
Lupus
-
Herpes Zosters in the face
-
Keloid
-
Melanomas
-
Ichthyosis
-
Ehler-Danlos syndrome
-
Malignant skin diseases
-
Birthmark (covering the area to be treated)
-
Lip cancer (applies only to lip color procedure)
-
Herpes Simplex in case of regular outbreak or at least 4 times a year (for lip color)
*Transient Contraindications - if you are having any of the following episodes, please wait until you are completely healed or finished using specified treatments prior to having your procedure:

Current Herpes simplex/cold sore outbreak

Roaccutane use
-
Corticosteroids use
-
Eczema
-
Ophthalmitis
-
Sty
-
Use of a tanning bed or severe of sun burn less than 2 weeks before the procedure

Lash Extensions or Latisse/Bimatoprost serum use (applies only to eyeliner procedure)
*Diabetes without history of complication of healing, skin alterations or excessive bleeding are not really a contraindication; however, keep the following aspects in mind:

Wounds will heal slowly; it’s important observes very good hygiene after the pigmentation.

Brown pigments may turn greyish.
-
The skin may reject the pigment
*Pregnancy is not a contraindication, but micropigmentation during pregnancy is absolutely not recommended.
*Corticosteroids cream/ointment applied locally where the micropigmentation will take place have to be discontinued at least 6 months before the procedure.
*24 hours prior your micropigmentation session, please discontinue any use of the following blood thinners:

Vitamin E
-
NSAID: Aspirine/Ibuprofen/Naxopren (Paracetamol are allowed)
-
Alcohol
-
Coffee/Drinks with high concentration of caffeine
*These substances may be taken immediately following the procedure.
* In case you have doubts about possible complications having micropigmentation, it’s highly recommended you consult your physician opinion, especially if you have health issues.
